The rev limit you are hitting in the data log is because of your launch control settings. If you are moving in any of these logs, the problem is that your VSS is not working.

All of these
Logs are stationary. They are NOT of my driving. Vss should reflect 0 mph on all logs Vss logs fine in my s300 and my cluster. It's simply
Me in my garage trying to hit 2step. The logs are not of me hitting launch control feature is set to 6300. as you can see with the logs it never reaches that (reference calibration for lanch control setting)

I redid all my
Grounds with 8awg wire

The valve cover one and I also have one from my water pump to chasis

As I asked earlier does it matter my icm wire was going back into the harness? Just asking it would be nice to not have that other loose wire to power tach

Where on the valve cover is the ground attached?

As long as the original ICM wire is disconnected from the ECU then it should be fine.

Oem location however, redid all of them because they were really old and extremely fraid !

Haven't Gotton a chance to really test it since the grounds have been installed.

Is it possible this could all equate to shitty grounds?

Hoping to get it down the 1/4 this weekend. I will report back updates. Anything else I can try before then? Is it possible I over heated a coil pack?

Thanks for ideas

Grounding to that location does nothing as the valve cover is rubber isolated. It must be under the acorn nut but on top of the grommet holder.

Naturally , the ground was not attached at that location lol, could this equate to a bad ground is that possible likely?

So far 2 of the 3 factory ground are not connected correctly, and you haven't even mentioned the factory transmission ground that goes to the frame rail.

There is no need to put a ground on the water pump.

Try a different ECU as that is about all that is left to swap.

From your pictures it looks like you have other wires in your harness that are damaged and could be shorting out or corroding. One example is your fan thermo switch on the thermostat housing.

The s300 does not make any difference. The ECU may do.

Is it a new aftermarket distributor or is it a Honda distributor? We see a lot of problems with old Honda distributors and new (or old) aftermarket distributors.

Already tried different ecu at track same problem.

Yes I am tracking only to use honda oem ecu only problem is that I cannot find any brand new dizzy seems honda may have discontinued them. I am on a used one now but I figure best bet to get one from h motors with some low miles, unless you have a better source for new or low milage dizzy?
It just boggles me that it's only at the track I encounter he this problem and always on 3rd or 4th run

Thanks again for the help
