Bad injectors pulse
Hi, I am completing my K24A2 swap in my EK and a strange problem appeared in the lasts days. The engine runed great and suddenly he started to run on 2 cylinders. Kpro is only sending pulse to two injectors, but not always the same. Sometimes it's on the #1-4 and sometimes on the #2-3. This problem appeared few days after rewiring my new fuel pump with a new relay on the old fuel pump relay signal, this is the last modification I did before the trouble appears. But the car still runned good with this modification during few startups. I have checked all my grounds and voltage pinouts to the ECU, CKP and camshafts sensors looks to be fine, the pulse gear for the CKP has all his tooths (12), timing is good, stock injectors and no CEL code. I also tried my Kpro in a known good car (K20Z3 swaped EP3) and he is OK. Sorry for my english I'm from Québec. Thanks for your help.
Re: Bad injectors pulse
It sounds like you have a wiring fault that it intermittent. You will need to correct this. Look at everything you have recently touched and or changed as that is the most likely cause of the problem.

Re: Bad injectors pulse
I looked at everything except to try a new main relay. I have a OEM RSX S wiring harness with a brand new Ktuned harness. I will try a new relay tomorrowSpunkster wrote:It sounds like you have a wiring fault that it intermittent. You will need to correct this. Problem solved! It was caused by a faulty MAP sensor! Strange but true!
