smanager install drivers

ok im running windows vista everytime i install the drivers it tells me i need to restart my computer for the changes to take effect the only thing is if i restart the computer then it reinstalls and i have to restart but i have an error code 18 when i pull up the device manager.

any help would be greatly appritiated

What is the serial number on the s300 board inside the ECU? From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

S300 v3 30027 I just uninstalled everything and restarted my computer and reinstalled everything and now I'm getting "setup unable to execute file create process failed; code 740 the request operation requires elevation

I ran the program as an administrator and uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them as a minnistrator and I'm still getting the same message

Try a different laptop and see if that works.

Ok so I wiped the computer and installed windows 7 and everything downloads ok but the drivers. I download the program and then turn my key on and plug everything in and I get the error message devices can't be installed. So then I try to manually install them find them and tell hondata what to install and it can't find the drivers I'm getting really frustrated I really don't want to buy another laptop when mine works perfectly fine just can't find the drivers

You should never have to 'run as administrator' SManager.

Ok, let's start at the beginning.
- What windows are you using (include whether it is 32 or 64 bit)?
- What anti-virus are you using?
- What version SManager have you downloaded?
- When installing did SManager ask you to install the USB drivers?
- What does the S300 show up as in the driver manager?
- If the S300 is in the device manager, can you manually install the drivers?

If you get an error message, please include the exact error text (take a screenshot if necessary), and tell us exactly where you get that message.

I am running windows 7 64bit with whatever antivirus comes with that I haven't put anything on and we just wiped the computer and put windows 7 on but I am running the 2.3.2.0 and it did ask me to install the drivers and it's saying the drivers aren't installed and idk how to upload an image but the drivers in the manager are base system device 4 tims with éclat nation points then under them it's unknown device and when I click the base system it says drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)and it's the same for the unknown system

Problem resolved I came home from work this afternoon manually installed the drivers and were online and I have a base map thank you for the help
