Radiator Fan toggle

Post by iketh »

No matter what temps I put into the calibration, radiator fans come on at 212 F. Anyone else notice this? I am US Civic Si 2013.

The radiator fan works from ECT2, not ECT.

The fan will come on based on the ECT2 temperature, which is lower than ECT. You're looking at ECT.

Ok I understand, but please note ECT2 does not show in the sensors window. Only ECT shows. When I go to the sensor setup window under options, there is not a toggle to add or remove sensors. (I'm probably being a complete noob about this.)

I'm still having issues with cooling. Is it not possible to get rid of this fluctuation? The fans are still coming on late but they are turning off when I tell them.

No explanation here? Is it a bug?

It is working as it should, not a bug.
