ECU Installation and ground...

It's unclear to me if the ECU chassis should be grounded or not. If mounted in the original location inside the stock ECU chassis then the mounting screw would (I think) provide a ground. But if I mount inside the glove box (as suggested) then do I have to ground the ECU chassis? Or is it not necessary?

It is not necessary to ground the ECU case.
