ProFlash or Reflash 2005 Acura Tsx

I'm a student at UTI in Orlando, Florida. My power and performance instructor told me about hondata. I have an 2005 Acura Tsx. The only thing available for it is a reflash. Unless i buy a 2008 ECU for FlashPro. Now my question. Is it worth paying over $1200 to get the 08 ecu and buy FlashPro or should I just get my 05 ECU Reflashed? Other than the ability to continuously change my ecu parameters what is the benefit? Thank you to all who have read this and thank you to those who respond.
