Hi, Just installed a T28 turbo kit on civic type r, but using a greddy 10psi map for the moment just so the car runs.
The problem is the engine check light is always on and tickover is lumpy, am pretty sure need to convert Us map for UK, can this be done?
Thanks
Alex

Did you load a US calibration into a UK ECU? That will not run correctly.
Whatever you do, the setup you have will need to be tuned. While the US calibration might give you a starting point, it is just as easy to create a new calibration from a standard Euro calibration then using the 'create boost tables' to initialize the boost portions of the tables. Doing this will give you a calibration which will be just as suitable as the US Greddy calibration as a starting point.

Thanks,
Have booked the car into CPL on the 26th of next month ( no sooner available date). So running Greddy map at the mo, which seems to be doing ok at the mo, if u can disregard an engine check light, and hesitation from 5500 to 6500 (vtec).
I know it is possible to create boost tables with k-pro and there was talk before about uprated map sensors for kpro to indicate boost spikes, but i'm terrified of pinking the engine and without "proper knowledge" i'll be walking in the dark. I know there was a training disc available for UK Kpro when first released, is there a training disc for newer software versions of k-pro which include boost tables?

Stop. I didn't make this clear enough: Do not run the US calibration in the UK ECU. The ECU program code is not compatible between the US and Euro ECUs, and you are risking damage to the engine. Do not ignore the hesistation from 5500-6500 rpm - it means that something is wrong. As a rule if you have a check engine light don't rev the engine and don't go into boost.
