02-04 JDM vs 05-06 JDM

I have understood that despite the Hondatasite stating I need the conversion harness for my 05 facelift type-r, I do not need this as my car is a JDM.
Does this mean that the 02-04 ecu need no modifications as the speedodrive is the same? I am about to purchase hondata thrue a dealer, but I`m looking to confirm this as time is of the essence and I dont want a mixup and return.

What is the part number of your original ECU?

I have no idea as there is a hoa MUGEN ecu in the car now.

Take a picture of the inside of hte ECU you are currently using and post it here.

This vehicle uses the same ECU as an 02-04 RSX. I would recommend that you sell the mugen ECU as it iw worth more and then you can use taht money to buy a compatible PRB or PRC ECU to use with K-Pro.
