Hi,
First of all, apologies for rocking in with a problem straight away. I have searched here and a few other forums for this issue with no joy.
I am based in the UK and have a customer who bought an ECU with K pro installed already. I currently have it on the dyno for tuning.
The details I know...
Integra DC5 (most likely JDM).
K manager showing the ecu as a PRB.
I didn't note the ECU serial number etc but I can get this if needed.
I have also attached a pic of the K pro board for verification.
When trying to tune the car everything seemed to be working perfectly. The car starts and runs, everything connected in K manager showing ecu online, ignition on, drivers installed etc. The datalogging is working perfectly using both F10 for live display and F9 for recording and playback.
I have been able to upload different calibrations with success for each time I upload a fresh calibration.
My problem is that when trying to tune the car I had a pre tuned kal loaded into the ecu with everything online and connected. After a pull on the dyno I first tried to reduce WOT timing on the low cam. Uploaded changes into ECU successfully, started the car and did another dyno pull. No visible change in performance at any rpm point. I figured it was maybe over advanced to begin with, so I pulled another few degrees out, uploaded changes and ran on the dyno again, Still no change. I went on like this to the point where the values in the low cam WOT area were very retarded (over 10deg retarded from its original state). The dyno was still showing the same curve with no change.
To confirm, the vtec point had been moved to 6000rpm in order to tune the low cam and this could be heard from the engine and also monitored on the sensors window to be correct.
I had taken logs of each run and upon checking the logs I noticed that the ignition timing hadn't changed at all from the first run. This obviously confirmed what I was seeing on the dyno.
I did try to reduce the timing in the high cam table just to be sure it wasn't referencing the figures there, and there was still no change in the log.
Strangely, when I adjusted the vtec setpoint to a lower value this change was successful.
I suspected another setting somewhere in the software that I had missed that was causing the ignition timing changes to be ignored but I cannot find anything that would affect it.
Because the vtec changes are successful and everything else 'shows' as working ok, I suspect I am doing something wrong.
When making table adjustments I....
Dyno pull
Engine off, ignition on, verify ecu is online etc
Edit ignition table (selected top 3 columns for low cam WOT area from 0-highest rpm)
Reduce figures (eventually reduced by over 10deg)
select 'online' then 'upload' (box with progress bar appears briefly)
Start engine
Perform dyno pull
Check dyno graph and log in K manager and see no change in either.
Sorry for the long winded post but hopefully someone can pick out where I am going wrong lol.
Many thanks
Gav.
Edit to resize the massive pic lol....
K manager upload successful. Changes not reflected in log.

Re: K manager upload successful. Changes not reflected in lo
Aha!!!
Think I may know what the problem is now. When editing the tables I didn't select the correct cam angle from the drop down bar. I haven't been back to the car to confirm this but I will confirm later.
I knew it had to be something silly I was doing lol
