Just got my Kpro back, and I have an imobilizer problem

Post by captaingamez »

Hi, I just got my Kpro from my tuner, who just got it back from Hondata, and the imobilizer doesnt work. I read the 'Imobilizer problems' thread and tried unpluging the ECU and plugging it back in, but still the same thing.

- serial number-13704
- ECU part number - 2091-306043
- KManager version - 3.2.5.0
- Nothing on the car is modified that would or should effect this as far as I know.
- bought it from Xact Dyno, ECU came back 1/17/14

What do you mean by your immobilizer does not work?

When I turn the imobilizer on in Kpro, it acts as if there is an uncoded key in my ignition. Like the imobilizer does not recognize my key. It cranks but does not start. If I turn the imobilizer off in Kpro, it starts normal.

This is my ECU from my car, at least to my knowledge.

Wfter enabling the immobilizer, turn the key off, remove the key, then turn it back on and it should work unless this is not the original ECU from the vehicle.

Just tried it, works perfect!. I never shut off the car or removed the key before, this time I did both.
