Closedloop wideband input target lambda

Post by Lazysk8r2 »

I have been running my car for years in open loop. So runs pretty well, however, when the weather changes it requires some minor tweaking. So today i really wanted to see if i could get my car to run in closed loop. I have my PLX M-300 ran into D14 with a voltage offset of -.29. Display matches hondata at idle. (I have not tested to see if they match at full throttle). Anyways i put it in closed loop target lambda and went for a drive. It ran lean at idle so i put it back in open and ran fine. Tried again, drove around air fuels fluctuated quite a bit. What are some settings to get it to run smoother. Im using the default settings. Injectors are ID2000 (2200cc). Used the dead times from there web site. i know your gunna ask so here it my calibration.

You would be better off using D10 for a wideband input and make sure you are not inputting the narrow band signal. Since the s300 now allows you to run closed loop from a actual wideband signal this is the best method. D14 is limited in the input voltage it can see.

i was using D10 (thought maybe D14 would work better) but the offset was like -.5. Last ECU i had to cut the resistors but it still wasn't a 0 offset.

Where do you have the power and ground connected for the wideband?

Connect the ground to the thermostat housing which is the main ECU ground as well.
