p08 works great. a/t is no prob to fix when socketing the board. the info is too tiring to recap, but a search will turn it up.

or you could send it to us for $60+shipping and be gauranteed one day turnaround (often same-day turnaround). one nice thing about the a/t p08 is that iab control is easy to mod for obdI cars (10$ extra) so the ecu ends up EXACTLY like a jdm p72 minus the knock board. if you are new to chipping beware of the surface mount latch; while we have never had a single prob with it, i know some high profile ecu mod'ers on ht that have fits with them :)

thanks... do i have to convert it first to manual? or can i do away with the convertion to manual? the installation manual of s200 doesnt say so, so im a little confused. but the installation manual has information of converting a/t to m/t of ecus.

where can i get the 373ic? the one included in the s200 kit is too big for the p08 ecu.

if the ecu you have is a automatic, u will not need the 373ic. all JDM automatic ecus have that chip on it all ready.

a few may, but most don't. we've gone through about three dozen this year and all lacked the latch.

already found a surface mount 373ic! thanks. it costed around 10$.

i've installed it already and i used my friend's eprom in my ecu (just to check if my ecu was done correctly, still waiting for my rom editor). and it worked! thanks a lot guys.

btw, i checked my friend's ecu, and J1 was not shorted. but it's working fine in his car. how come?

if j1 isn't shorted the ecu runs off the stock program within the processor.
