Solid Red Light Problem

Post by jason marteja »

Hi there,

- Serial no. is S300-4558.
- I have a 1996 jrsc integra gsr
- Using a p28 ecu
- I have no idea how to get the datalogging and calibration; I'll ask around.
- other mods are: ITR cams, stage 2 upgrade kit for the supercharger (RC 550cc fuel injectors, JR fuel pump, smaller pulleys, the s300)
- The solid red light is on all the time. The car won't start (will crank but will not turn over). I took this ecu out and put the old (p72) in and the car fired up easily.

Can you please help? Thanks.

I got a new board.

The car still didn't start. Red light turns green when starting the car, but car still won't start.

Is anyone here having the same problem?

Please help.

From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

I honestly don't know what version. I've never done the tuning on my car. If there is a new version, I can't guarantee I'm not using the latest version as it's been a while since my car was last tuned. The shop that tuned my car for me is no longer in business.

Anyway, I've downloaded the latest smanager software to my laptop last night, but I don't know what to do next. I also wonder if my s300 is fried.

Pardon my ignorance. :(

In the software, click on Help at the top of the screen and then click on about and tell me what the version of software is that you are using.

I just downloaded the latest version, 2.2.4.0.

I uploaded the calibration for supercharged b18c, then changed the injectors to 550. Green light comes on! The car fired up, but motor died right away. I had disconnected the ecu to my laptop when I started it, should I have kept it connected?

Can you please see attached calibration and advise?

Thanks in advance.

Did you click on the button to upload the calibration to the ECU, or did you just open the calibration?

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to do this. I will this afternoon. It looks like the weather will warm up for a week (I'm in Calgary, Alberta).

Quick question: Should the map sensor be changed to a different one other than the stock or keep it stock? I had changed the injectors to 550.

Then you need to have the stock map sensor selected. Do you have the map relocator installed so that the ECU can see boost?

I have selected the stock. I'm not sure about the map relocator though. I'll ask. Does this come with the jrsc kit?
