a quick trip to a k24

So, today while I was politely keeping to myself in the right lane, a purple minivan decided to try and put me into a guard rail...luckily I saw him and gunned it before I tasted said guard rail. Unfortunately, my lovely rev limiter didn't stop my engine and I cracked my block (and probably bent some valves). Though, I suppose a blown engine is better than a total loss. Surprise...he didn't stop! That being said, I am going to buy a k24a2 and I am unsure if I can run the 04-05 map with an 06 engine. Ill be using my 70mm throttle body, shorty header and cai from my k20 but I hear that the k24 base map doesn't take kindly to mods. Am I safe with that map for spirited dd/sdcc autocross? Also, I am thinking about using my k20 vtc gear with a 40 degree limiter. Does anyone have a map for such mods; is it even needed? I would love to hear from some of you guru's like keto06! Thanks for your time.

93 views and not a single bit of advice... Well, I decided to go with an 05 engine and ill be finishing the I stall tomorrow. Guess ill just pick a map and hope I can make it a week before its tuned.
