Error code p1607

Post by ibraMP »

I there!

I have 2003 HONDA civic type r ep3 with a precision turbocharger and 550cc rc injectors. i bouth the car stooped because one off the stock pistons had broken. so i bouth 4 wiseco low compression pistons and i rebuilt the engine.

The car have a HONDATA chip and the CPU number is 37820-PRA-E02 2030-100720 OH27.

The check engine stays is on, first when in loggin for the first time to the hondata it was saying that the calibration was older than the software version. so i download the calibration to the laptop than i uploaded it to the car CPU, now that issue is gone.

But the computer stays with a P1607 (check calibration type) error.

and the car doesnt goes smoth from 4000 to 6000 rpms, after 6000 rpms it goes perfect when im driving it.

Now i dont know what to do.

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue ?

Did i need to make a new calibration.

Atached the calibration !!!

Regards

I B

You cannot load a PRB calibration into a PRA ECU. You must use a PRA calibration.

Go to New calibration and choose a PRA based calibration to start your tuning from.
