S300 V 2.2.7 - problem

Post by Lyle_57IAL »

Gday guys,

noticed a software glitch with the beta version. When uploading a file into your ecu you loose all your information in your notes. I have a p28 s300 v2. Don't have this issue with earlier versions - however i like the extra features in the 2.2.7. If you could get it sorted asap and bring out a new review it would be great

Cheers

What is the exact sequence you are following? If I create, save, upload and the re-load the calibration the notes are ok. Are you using odd characters in the notes?

everytime i upload it either looses all the notes or a partial amount. I do not have this problem with the earlier versions.

i always flick between save & upload when i make changes. Also not sure what you mean by odd characters but i have things like '#' etc and normal text. The main issues is that either all my notes or just part of them get lost - but in earlier versions i don't have this problem e.g. 2.1.3

Please explain it to me like I am an idiot. What steps do you need to take to reproduce this? When do the notes disappear? From the parameters window or when you re-load the calibration, or if you download the calibration again?

* I open up a hondata map from my desktop
* i add some information in my notes tab in parameters
* I save the file
* upload the file to my ecu
* look back at my notes and some of the info is missing if not all….
