Hi all, first of all just like to introduce myself. I own a Honda eg hatch turbo from the UK. Ive been told to join the site by a good friend. Im hoping some one can shine some light on the problems im having either management or mechanical :(
Spec is as follows
B18C4 stock block
B18C'R head from the JDM dc2 integra
Ram horn tubular manifold
external wastegate "tial 38mm" 7psi spring
510cc injectors from the evo running resistor box
Walbro 255lph pump
3" full exhaust system
Hondata s300 v2 with Mac boost solenoid 12 psi on high boost
BKR7EIX plugs
My problem has only recently occurred, once the car was mapped it ran sweet without any issue. But now what happens is that if im on WOT say 2nd gear, reach for 3rd i will have like an ignition cut for a delay of like 1.5 seconds as if theres no power at all! then pick back up as normal, also ive noticed it seems to back fire through high rpm's, ive been told to change the plugs for these BKR7EIX which has been done, distributor which has been done, HT leads which ive changed. Now im going to check out the TPS sensor on my volt meter. Could anyone shed a bit of light on this for me.
