Help needed! s300

I bought a used s300 off some bloke on ebay, he had good feedback, i haven't finished building my car yet, so is there any way to tell if there is a password on there or if its all working okay with out connecting it to the car ? and just the laptop.

No, you will have to plug it all in and turn the key to the on positiuon and try uploading.
