Is there a limit to the number of ECU flashes?

Hello:

I was talking to a co-worker today about the upgrades I've made to my 2012 Si. He asked me numerous questions about my Si, and among them he asked whether there is a limit to the number of flashes possible to the ECU -- he has recently sold a Subaru STI and he told me that his ECU could only be flashed around 500 times; when this limit of ECU flashes is "hit", the ECU locks itself out from further programming.

So, my question: Is there a limit to the number of possible flashes to the 2012 Civic Si ECU?

We don't enforce any limit. In testing the number of reflashes the processor will accept is in the 10's of thousands.
