using hondata with non honda engine

Post by surefiretim »

couple of questions i am using a p28 s300 with aem uego, 3.5 bar map sensor d series ditributor side feed nissan injectors, ect. the car is roughly street tuned and i am setting up the closed loop operation. my quesion is what do the numbers in the closed loop settings for rich to lean and lean to rich compensation mean? the higher the number the faster the switch? i am trying to narrow the switching. right now it switches from 13.8-15.2 (using the wideband as o2 input) i would like to narrow this up to keep it around 14.7.15.0 light load. i am also using the aem boost control solenoid and wondering is there any rule of thumb for temp. compensation. when the engine is cool with littke heat soak i hit 15 lbs steady and after some solid pulls with some heat in it i hit 13 and it rolls off to 10lbs thanks in advance

Larger numbers mean a faster rate of change and smaller mean a slower rate of change.

There is no set IAT compensation. You will have to start with what you have and then datalog and see what your temps and bosot level are and make adjustments to the table accordingly. IT is best to do you boost vs. ducy cycle table when it is hot, then you use the compensation tables for when it is cooler.
