If you can, try the s300 in a known working ECU.

Try just changing the rev limit to somethign low like 2000 RPM, see if that works.

Do you have on-board datalogging turned on?

unfortunately, I do not have access to another ECU that I can install S300 into, Aside from buying another ECU and pinning it to accept the S300, Which doesnt seem to be a feasible idea.

As for dropping the the rev limit, I have tried that, also changed high and low fuel tables to 0 across the entire table, Changed from d16 to b18 maps (and every other one in between) still no change to the running of the engine. I have taken the S300 board out and ran the car without it, Still runs the same Even with J1 still connected.

I have also tried with OBdatalogging on and off, No change, I can click on the datalog button in the toolbar, and it will start counting seconds,... and i can save and replay the datalog.. there just isnt anything in it. no sensor data, no tps movement, just as if its reading nothing....

Since you say it runs the same if J1 is in tact or cut, this sounds like an ECU socketing problem, or a bad ECU. The serial communication from the ECU may be burned out and therefor not communicating with the s300.

The best thing to do would be to socket a different ECU as that will most likely resolve the issues. I am trying to save you the money, time and hassle of sending this in as I have never seen an s300 have a problem like this and all symptoms point to it being an ECU related problem.

Ok lil update... I installed a new 74hc373 chip (used 60/40 solder), and tested again.... Still had the same issue.. Uploaded a new map... and tried again.. this time the car wouldn't even start and I still had the CEL. Code 0..... Next thing i know, I cant even upload a map... I just get the "Map failed to upload, try again" I decided to Cut J1, and the Code 0 went away. So here are the things i know for sure...

1. The ECU itself is good
2. The connections are all good per the pinout guide in http://qcwo.com/technicaldomain/trouble ... stallation
3. Cutting J1 gets rid of the Code 0

Well thats where Im at now.. So im leaning more and more towards the S300 itself went bad, Possibly from the high temps during shipping? but Im pretty sure if they are meant to withstand the inside car temps, that shipping shouldnt overheat anything.
