K20A3-Si Vs. K20A3-RSX w/mods
I am trying to figure out which reflash to go with for my RSX base. I have CAI, DC Race Header, exhaust, type-s tranny, and a bored TB. Would it be worth the extra money for a K20A2 (the Si) manifold, and go with the Si reflash, or if the money could be better spent. Thanks.
Base RSX with CAI

Civic Si with CAI

The top lines were measured on the same dyno, both were stock engines with CAI and Hondata reflash.
The Civic Si has more below 3000 rpm, less 3500 - 5000 rpm, more above 5000 rpm (or you can view it as the Base having more power 3500-5000.
Remember the Civic has EPS, which will account for more power, especially at higher rpm, so the different might be less than it looks over 5000 rpm. Power steering uses approx 5 hp at 6500 rpm.
