Possible fried ecu/Hondata

Post by J_wod1 »

Hello Hondata. Yesterday morning I went and started my honda which is using an s300 in a p28 case. It is version 1. I let the motor warm up then I shut her down, came out 20-30 min later and the car would not start, throwing a solid cel, the led by the USB is lit up red and my laptop won't connect to the ecu/s300. The ecu has been working perfectly since install, about a year now, til now. Any ideas? Thanks for your help

What is the serial number on the s300 board inside the ECU? From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

S300-13214. Not sure on the exact version ATM but the last time I updated it was maybe 4 months ago. When I get home I was gonna try to erase the ecu and re upload a calibration. Do you have any otter insite? I have taken the case apart to look at the both sides if the board and everything looked great.

Download the most recent beta version of software from the downloads section of the website and upload a fresh calibration from the new calibration button and see if that resolves the issue.

Ok so I erased the smanager on my laptop and reinstalled the most current version of s300. I erased the ecu. I uploaded a new calibration, made sure the USB is connecting and still same symptoms. The ecu is connecting to the lap top but will not show any codes and there are no changes in the display tab. Still a solid cel and it won't run longer then a second. I was thinking maybe the main relay?? Any thoughts?
