Problem with Vtec engagement..

Post by BAGEN »

I have a Euro S2000 and I bought me a Flashpro.
Now that I should tune it, I get problems with the Vtec.
When I upload the existing calibration (S2000-Euro-1) and lower vtec to 4000 rpm then the vtec goes in even if I stand still and hit the gas.
It's just like if flashpro only goes on the rpm and not on the intake pressure or vehicle speed.
What could be wrong?

I have installed an Acura J37 Big Bore Throttle Body, KN Fipk and test pipe. That's the only mods I've done.

I use FP manger 1.5.6.0.
My FP has liciens No. FP-S2K-INT-40214
I attach a log on the problem.

Sorry, I confused you with an email I had just sent.

That is because your upper boundry is set at 4100. It will come on then no matter what.

You may want to read the help file which discusses the vtec window: http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/vt ... htsub=vtec

okay so I think I understand ..
If I want to go into vtec at 4000rpm at full throttle then I put the lower point of vtec window to 4000rpm but the higher point must always be set high up around 6500rpm.

Did I understand it correctly then?
