kpro won't hold the base map

Post by bpjeffrey »

I have an 05 EM2 with a bone stock K20a2 swap, the only aftermarket parts I have is the conversion harness from Hybrid Racing and the Kpro. From the initial install the kpro wouldn't and won't hold the base-map once I turn the car off for 10min+!

The calibration is uploaded to the ECU and it cannot loose the calibration even if the ECU is unplugged. Please give more detail of exactly what is happening.

Okay Spunkster, When I installed the swap I completed in one day so I saved the start-up til the next morning. I uploaded a base type's map! It idled perfect and didn't drive it until the coolant system was bled. When I took it around the block it was running perfect. I turned the car off to clean my work space and when I went to start it it wouldn't rev past 4 and all the settings went back to "default"

Are there any error codes when it only revs to 4000 RPM when checked with datalogging?

The daughterboard communication error is your biggest problem and you will also need to resolve the IAT error as well. Check your battery voltage when cranking as it is probably too low and is causing the error. Your calibration is not being erased.
