doubts with the serial output

I got some doubts with the serial output in the kpro.
After configure the data logger option on the kmanager you have a tx port in e24 pin, ok,
it's supposedly to repeatedly send the 22 bytes packet?
You don't have to send nothing by any pin?
E connector has a plug on it? so... e24 is in use and I have to cut the cable in order to read data from?

You must cut the wire so that it no longer goes to the original destination and connect the wire only to the device you at to receive the new serial stream.

thanks, I saw the serial output help document but I don't know if I need to send anything to the ecu or it is always sending the packet continuously.
