I have am excited to see the progress that you guys have made with your K20a2 engine, im sure the k20A3 is soon to follow! I eagerly await its release, anyways onto my question. I was wondering if the hondata intake gasket for the K20A2 will fit the K20A3 if so i want to purchase it. -- any help would be appreciated.. THANKS again! --joe from www.ephatch.com

Doug, a couple questions if you don't mind. Firstly would you know if the intake manifold gasket for the RSX-S will fit the 02 Civic Si ?. We use the same intake manifold, I am not sure about the head port opening, but I would assume they may be the same in which case they would use the same gasket. Since our ecu is not ready yet I wouldn't mind starting on the intake manifold gasket first.
Secondly I know heat is a big influence on our engines (all k20's) and you reference intake temps a bit, any idea if coolant temps have an effect also. I ask because there are fan switches available for our engines and thermostats such as Mugen, and Redline makes a water wetter product for the coolant fluid. These items can theoretically lower our coolant temps, do you think that would increase power ? or do our engines make max. power with coolant temps in the low 200's like some of the other Hondas in the past, in otherwords would it be beneficial to try and lower coolant temps from the stock level. Any info would be appreciated. Hope I was clear enough with my questions. thanks for your time and the opportunity.
