car will run on stock ecu bot not on S300, need base map

Post by 1988montecarloss »

first off i have a 96 integra with a 81x95 b18c1 with 13.1:1 cp pistons with a b16 head and supertech springs/retainers, ferrea valves and blox stage 3 cams. it also has rc 440cc injectors. now itll start and run okay on a stock ecu that i have and go into vtec, although on the stock ecu it doesnt make much power at all which is understandable (not sure what ecu it is, sticker wore off) but when i hook it up to my p28 with S300 it wont even start, itll try to and you can hear it firing but it wont start. can anybody make me a base map so i can get this thing started on the s300? i plan on having a friend of mine whos tuned all sorts of stuff including a few 700whp+ cars tune it once he gets the time, but id like to be able to get it running on the s300 so he has something to start from, thanks.

also is it possible theres some kind of setting i need to change to get it to start? like anti-theft or something like that. i checked the security tab in the parameters window and couldnt find anything. although im not very familiar with the s300 software so maybe there is something i missed, im used to tuning carbed v8's and not EFI haha

Talk to whoever you plan to have tune it and see if they can make you a basemap to get it started.

okay, itll be awhile before he can though so thats why i asked, if i cant get it started on the s300 before then thats what ill have him do

EDIT: just talked to him, he said it would probably be a couple weeks before he could get to it. so id really like to get it running on the s300 before then

Whatever color the power wire is that is the one you will connect to switched power. Look at the instructions that came with the PLX wideband.

You will probably need to contact PLX devices about this and get the manual for the wideband controller you have.

first picture. the black plug to the right that comes from the gauge goes into the TX hole and not the RX hole correct?

the middle white 4 prong plug, which is coming from the back of the gauge has a wire in the top left and then the second wire doesnt plug in, where is that 2nd wire wired to?

Image

second picture. in this picture you can see the power plug all the way to the right only has a plain black wire and a black wire with a white stripe coming from it. does anybody know which is the positive and which is the ground?

Image

third picture. this is an output from the back of the gauge that doesnt need to be used. correct?
