If you do not have a wideband then there is no way to tell if you are rich or lean. I would highly recommend taking your car to a different tuner to make sure it is tuned properly and safely.

Thanks for the feedback Spunkster. I talked to a local shop here in town and it was actually a guy that worked on this car years ago. Back in 2004 he replaced the injector resistor box due to issues then, one day it would not start and just bellowed white smoke. I recall this issue being around shortly after that was changed and since it did not go away with the recent mods we are keeping it simple and going to look at replacing that box again and see if we see any progress. I know this issue is not a result of the tuning so looking "around" at other opportunities.

If your running the stock manifold, i may now what the problem is. Either change it out or drill out the holes under the injectors that will allow you to get to the egr valve ports and clean them out with carb cleaner. Also use a block off plate for the egr. It has happened to me before here in Somerset KY and I took it to Speed Shift and they fixed it.
