USB driver not installed

Just baught a kpro.
When I open k manager it keeps saying usb driver not installed.
I did the manual usb driver install and I see "hondata kpro ecu" in device manager. But it doesn't connect in kmanager.

Is my kpro bad?

What does it show up as in the Windows device manager when you plug in the USB to the K-Pro?

Initialy it gets detected as a usb to serial. After a manual install of the driver it shows up as "hondata k-series ecu"
I tried it on another laptop with windowsXP there I can't install the driver manualy. It doesn't find the driver for the device.
