Ecu powers up but kpro doesnt.

Post by Kairu2010 »

Alright, yesterday I got my car back from exhaust shop it ran fine, stopped at the house. Couple hours later went to the bank.
On the way I realized it wouldn't rev past like 3k rpm. Then I tried to connect the laptop and all it said in the corner was : error/ ignition off
Although it was on. Looked at the ecu and there is no red or green light lit up when the car is running or when the ignition is on.
I was told to check grounds and fuses which I did. But why would the car start if the ecu wasn't getting power. Obviously it is because I can drive it. Is my kpro board messed up?

What is the serial number on the K-Pro board inside the ECU? From Help, About, what version of software are you using?

Thesame exact thing. Kmanager does not recognize when the ignition is on. No red or green lights at all coming from the kpro board

Using the current beta version and everything plugged in what does it say in the lower left hand corner of the KManager software?

Have you tried this with a different laptop or desktop computer? If not, can you?
