Hello everybody ,
I'm very hoping someone got the answer for that , Getting tired to try thing with no luck
The setup is a d16z6 base with custom clearance at the bottom of the sleeve and on the griddle made for connecting rod matted to a d16y8 cylinder head
Forged Wiseco piston 75mm 9:1 comp
Eagle rod H-beam with ARP bolts
Cometic head gasket 3 layer
ARP head studs and bolts
ACL racing crankshaft bearing
Msd coil blaster , rotor and distributor cap
NGK bkr7e gapped to .020
Hks ssqv blow of valve
Top mount cast manifold
Precision turbo 3254 (capable of 450hp)
with a 3inch open exhaust about 2.5ft long (pretty loud haha)
Precision 39mm wastegate with 1ft dump tube
Braided oil feed and return Line
Oil feed sandwich
Dsm blue top 450cc injector with resistor box(home made connector so i didn't cut the original harness)
Walbro 255lph in-tank fuel pump
Obd1 to obd2 conversion harness
P28 Hondata s300 tuned at 14psi by Toma (calgary ab)
8500rpm rev limiter
So i just got tuned , everything is looking good and then few day later i get that odd boost cut feeling like problem . But the thing is there is not boost cut or lean/rich lamba activated.
The afr is beautyfull at every Rpm . I notice the problem go away when i have the ecu hookup to the pc and smanager open .. Weird isn't it !?
Strange problem related to the ecu hondata s300

sorry about that ,
hondata s300 serial number s300-5957
p28 ecu obd1
car is a canadian honda civic si 1997 so im using a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
d16z6 0bd1 base with a d16y8 obd2 cylinder head
and the calibration is attached to this reply
as for the datalog , im not to sure how to record one whithout having the laptop hookup to it..
because when it's hookup to the laptop the problem go away !

Ok i will but right now it's raining here in alberta :-/
I'll try tomorrow .. Hopefully
Oh and the problem occure when turbo start to spool hard
Presicion turbo 3254 give me a lot of boost lag to my little d16 , it reach full boost around 5300rpm @ 14 psi . It's different every time , depend how hard i hit the throttle , i can reach the rev limiter with partial throttle .. But when the laptop is hookup nothing of it happen.. Full throttle no problem
Also only in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears but 1st and 2nd feel different but no cutting out
