"Stock Equivalent MY06" map, 15:1 @WOT @VTEC

Post by deibit »

Hi,

I installed the European Flashpro on a MY08 EDM S2000. I flashed the only available map for Europe: "Stock Equivalent MY06"

I did 3 launches from 3 gear to 8000rpm and in each one of them the A/F peaks to 15:1 just at the VTEC entry point (at WOT)

Is that the expected result? does not sound very much "Stock Equivalent" to me... :)

Fortunately the map has been adapted, but sounds like too dangerous for a default map isn't it? (some people might think that "Stock" means "Safe")

Adding some warnings would be advisable.. or (even better) would be to define by default a fuel cut @VTEC for the "stock" map...

We use exactly the same fuel tables as stock.

Is it so? exactaly the same like a Stock MY06+ European F20c with DBW?

Unfortunately I can't compare this behaviour with a Stock ECU, since I never used a Stock ECU with my bolt ons (Intake + ASM07 Header + Test Pipe + Tanabe Concept G exhaust), before I was using a eManage and it was (obviously) tuned :)

I'm attaching one of the logs. I was using the stock equivalent with deactivated secondary O2 (no more changes)

Does it look "normal"?

Thanks!!

It is running lean from the header. You need to add fuel on the high cam.
