Hello,
I have been attempting to tune my car, here's the fun part
I get erractic fluctuations in the subject stated areas and ONLY under WOT above 4k . Part Throttle no issues all the way to 5k+
Any ideas please. Same S300 I used on last build, checked grounds, new cap and rotor (OEM). Only difference has been boost solenoid ready now, and hooked up to a GM N.O. solenoid. Plugs are BKR7E.
Thanks.

Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
Thank you for the assistance in the matter.
As follows:
Serial # S300-8724
Calibration: as attachement (tuning high cam now)
Datalog : as attachement
ECU : 37820-P28-C02
Affecting Mods : Boost Gauge, EGT (both ProSport), PLX W/B, GM solenoid, Jumper Harness (ECU and Dizzy) D16z6 conversion from Y8
Issue: As stated above.
I have tried both BKR7E and ZFR7F-11 plugs incase the plug was causing RF feedback.

Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
This looks like a tuning issue. Have you talked to your tuner about this. Your fuel and timing maps are not smooth and are probably the cause of this.
Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
Will advise and go from there.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
So here's the latest and greatest in regards to tune. RPM still erratic.
Any other ideas SPUNKSTER? Thanks.

It seems fromt eh datalogs that you are getting misfires and need to resolve this. What gap are you running on the plugs?
Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
.028 with the BKR7E.
I will attempt to resolve the issue. I very much appreciate the help on this. Will keep you posted. I actually have been logging even at idle and I see it as well there.
Thanks

Re: Datalog Ignition Timing, RPM and Inj. Pulse Erratic
Well....finally got the damn thing figured out. Thought I would post my results incase someone else ran into this issue.
Step 1 : Replaced Ignitor with known good honda OEM part...no change.
Step 2 : Replace Coil with known good honda oem part....no change.
Step 3 : Got upset
Step 4 : Gutted my entire Z6 dizzy
Step 5 : Installed all my Y8 OEM internals to the z6 housing, with known good coil and ignitor from Step 1 & 2
Step 6 : PROBLEM SOLVED.
Conclusion: Alway go with the theory that just because it's new doesn't mean it's good. I guess one of the sensors in the NEW Dizzy was a POS....unsure which one as I replaced them all.
Thanks for the help on the matter SPUNKSTER. Hope this helps someone else in the future. For assisting in future diagnosis, maybe the software could be updated to allow for datalogging of the CYP, TDC and CKP individually. Oscilloscope information may assist in future diagnosis for others. Please let me know if this is possible.
Cheers.
