Is this still a must when using a Hondata boost solenoid?
It also state this is how it should be hooked up...
"It is recommended to install a suppression diode (type 1N4004) near the boost control solenoid with the anode (stripe end) connected to +12V and the cathode (non stripped end) connected to the wire that runs to the ECU."
If I understand correctly it will look like a letter "H" with the diode being the horizontal piece in the middle?
I'm seeing 1A and 4A diodes. Which one should be used?

You should not use any diode. THe instructions have been changed to eliminate this. We found it caused more issues than it helped.
