Hey, so I have a b18c type r full bolt on... I load up a stock itr map... try to start and I'm pig rich...10.5 or so... what fuel pressure were these pre loaded maps created with??? Timing is dead on... idle is set at 850ish...fuel pressure is at 45 when running fuel pump in options with engine off...has a 255lph fuel pump... running stock 240cc injectors... Smanager is saying I need to pull 85% to 95% or the whole table... I got it to at least idle 14.7 by control-A then adjusting until Idle afr was close...but now I, lean up top... read the tuning guides and have a decent understanding just don't know if im missing something here or what...
Thanks for any help...
Jeremy

Re: Question about fuel pressure and pre loaded maps...
The correct way to adjust your fuel pressure. Car running, fuel pressure regulator vacuum line off.
Basemaps will run rich. Its just a map so you can get your car to a tuner. I beleave 42 psi is type r fuel stock pressure.

Re: Question about fuel pressure and pre loaded maps...
doing it that way nets the exact same result... it doesn't matter if the car is running or not it is still going to show you base fuel pressure... I'll try to back it down to 42psi but I don't think that it will knock out 80 some percent fuel from the map... it is idleing at 10.5 I wouldn't drive that a block let alone let it idle for longer then 10 seconds... not trying to be a dick here...
Re: Question about fuel pressure and pre loaded maps...
Usualy u set it with car running cause of the alternator curent is higher than a battery.
