CEL, Red light, Limp mode

Post by nsxmatt »

I checked past posts so I thought I would see if anyone had anything new to add.

Started my car for the 1st time on the Hondata. B16 obd1, p30 ECU socketed by Hondata, s200b, rc 750's, basemap made for my setup. Starts fine but had solid cel, won't rev past 3500, red light is on solid also. Will not pull a code. Turn the ignition to on and the cel is on and won't go out. Chip is in the correct position also.

Any ideas? Tomorrow I am going to the shop and going to burn the chip again to see if it didn't take but from what i've heard a solid red light means a good map.

Help a newbie out :)

Update:

I went out before work and used a different jumper and got a code 13 and 16. I figure the Fuel injector code means I need to go and disable the error feature but the Baro code I need to check after work. Any ideas?

Found some things about turning off the baro feature also in the romeditor. Guess i'll try both after work.

Disable all sensors (ELD, knock, baro etc). The P30 does not support them. You can build a new calibration based on the P30G (asian/euro) ECU (these sensors are disabled by default).

I thought the p30 did support knock? It has the knock board in the ecu?
