KManager V3.2.5 (beta)

Post by Hondata »

We've updated the USB drivers, added variable frequency to the boost control, added an AEM fail safe input along with a few tweaks and fixes.

V3.2.5 (9 May 2013)
  • Updated USB drivers (Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility 2.8.28.0)
  • Added external fail safe input.
  • Added calibration revision number.
  • Do not display P02 current for PRA datalogs.
  • Removed traction control minimum speed parameter (this should be set in the traction control window)
  • Added boost control solenoid frequency.
  • Added a DDE server.
  • [Traction Control] Firmware 7
  • [Traction Control] Fixed vehicle speed determination method not showing correctly after update.
  • [Traction Control] Prompt to write unsaved Traction Control configuration changes when application closed.

Hello,

I've got a problem after updating to this newer version. Basically, whenever I start the K Manager now, the ECU connected continues to cycle on and off. Additionally, the KPro in the device manager continues to appear/disappear throughout the "hand-shaking" process between the software and the ECU. Eventually, the Software exits with a fatal exception error, and closes.

Thinking it was just a bug, and probably is, I reinstalled the older version after uninstalling and deleting the drivers from system32/drivers as well as deleting the device from device manager with the driver. Then upon reinstalling the older version, the problem stuck... I have not been able to get it to reconnect to my ECU since.

I have gone thru many, many config changes to try and resolve this and to no avail.

What exactly did you guys do to the driver that created such a huge F*ing mess?
