ethonal content analyzer

Post by aceman187443 »

I'm am getting ready to hook up a zeitronix analyzer on a 93 civic. It is odb1 and has no egr valve so the d12 spot is open on the ecu and labeled as "blank" . Will the ecu read the analyzers output on the d12 wire using my s300 even though it is labeled as "blank"? Thanks a million!

D12 is the normally unused EGR lift input. To use it you need to add a capacitor for some ECUs.

See http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/an ... ghtsub=d12

I'm am goin to swap a p75 intgera odb1 ecu into it that I found here laying around. Its a odb1. Does a p75 need the mods done too or is it a direct wire?

You will have to click the link above and see if the ECU in question has the components needed, If not, you will have to add them.

It seems the p75 does have the resisters and not the cap. Is it common for a ecu to have the resisters but not the cap? I will just install the cap I need and leave the resisters Installed. Then run my 0-5volt Input to the d12 ? I just wanted to verify this was correct because of the resisters I do see much reading about. Thanks again!

The resistors have nothign to do with D12. Only the capacitor is need is what must be added.
