s300 problem

Post by b16turbocivic »

hi
i just started having a problem with my hondata recently!
i had my car sitting out a my friend house for this winter, and had it stored for the two winters before. i started my car up two weeks ago and it started fine and ran great. A week later i tried to start it adn ran perfect for 50 seconds, then it started running crappy. so i hooked up my computer and pulled the tune off the ecu and it was all scrambled idle was at 300 and everything was off. so i got my other tune and loaded it on. Ran great again so i turned it off and came back the next day, to drive it home. tryed starting it and did the same thing so i pulled out the ecu and tryed loading up the good tune again but for some reson the tune would run the car for 50 second now and then die. when it was doing this there would be a redlight on the ecu until i loaded up the tune then it would go green until the car dies and go back to red! it seems like every time i turn off the key the ecu earases the new tune thats uploaded or it goes back to the scrambled tune.

What is the serial number of the s300 board inside the ECU? From Help, About, what version of software are you using?
