2006 Si stumbles and turns off after returning back to stock
I am in th process of selling my Flashpro and after returning the calibration to stock the car won't stay idling. Help. I have an intake,J35 TB,RRC IM,header and exhaust,I'm thinking this should'nt cause problems with the stock ECU.

Try putting the stock TB and manifold back and see if that resolves the problem.

unfortunately I sold the stock manifold. Would not having an IACV port make it do that?Spunkster wrote:Try putting the stock TB and manifold back and see if that resolves the problem.

IF you are returning it to stock you should completely return it to stock, or keep the FlashPro.

*update*
Car starts and runs fine on MAP based tunes but has the same issue with MAF based tunes as it does with the stock tune. What could be the cause of this?

The intake is modifying the flow past the AFM so much that the car will not run correctly. We've seen 40% or more different from stock. Solution is to run MAP based or put everything back to stock.

ok,but I was running an intake AND header on the stock program with no trouble and now it does'nt even wanna hold an idle. I'm thinking it's a bad maf sensor.Hondata wrote:The intake is modifying the flow past the AFM so much that the car will not run correctly. We've seen 40% or more different from stock. OK Hondata and fellow forum members, I found the problem to be that the intake pipe was actually backwards(and as such the air was moving through the MAF backwards aswell). At some point I must have turned the pipe around and switched ends the filter went on to better route it for cooler air and since I was already FP tuned the car never suffered from it. The car idles fine now. File this one away for dumb things that can make a big difference.
