ELD and KS Code

Hi,

I have a 1996 JDM ITR, an OBD2a jumper harness from eBay, and Hondata S300 V2 in a p28.

I loaded a stock ITR map and flashed it to the ECU.

The car started and idled a bit rough.

I data-logged it for a bit and the car has 2 codes:

- Code 20 ELD Electrical Load Detector

- Code 23 KS Knock Sensor

Do you think my conversion harness is shitty?

Do JDM OBD2a cars have the same pin-outs as USDM OBD2a cars?

I checked the pin-outs on the conversion harness and it looks good.

Are JDM B18C-R injectors 240 cc?

under misc: disable knock sensor and ELD.

those sensors aren't available in the P28.

the P72 has those, but getting this kind of ECU is not so easy.

just disable those sensors and the car should run just fine.

I did that and it is idling much better.
