manual or automatic

Post by never2low »

a guy i work with gave me a P75 ECU to use in my car but he doesn't kno if it was an automatic or manal transmission. The part numbers read-

37820-P75-A53
981-211784
L8

Is there any way to tell if it is manual or automatic from those numbers?[/b]

It should be in http://www.hondata.com/techecuid.html but it is not.

Last 3 digits:
A = America (J=Japan, C=Canada,G=Asia ...)
5 = Automatic (0 or 1 =manual)
2 = Revision

So it is an auto ECU.
