04-06 kpro on 02 rsx

I bought the wrong kpro not knowing there is a difference it is for a 04-06 serial number 2689 I have been using it and it works fine in my pretty much stock 02 rsx. I just took it out cause I read you are not suppose to use it. I just want to know why not it seemed to work fine every thing seemed good car ran good every thing works. I just don't want to mess any thing up. I was going to get tuned but if this ecu is going to cause problems don't want to set up a appointment for nothing. thanks

What leads you to believe this is for an 05-06 RSX?

The guy I bought it from said it was in his 06 rsx and it came with a hondata adapter harness

if the guy I bought it from was wrong and the ecu is for a 02-04 is there a way for me to find out cause I would also like to get it upgraded this ecu to v3 but if this ecu is already modified for 05-06 and not right for my car there is no point of sending this ecu to you and wasting my money

You will have to take apart the ECU and take pictures of the bottom of the ECU circuit board and send them to support <at> hondata.com. Make sure you give a detailed description fo the issue and include a link to the thread.
