Hi there,
This might be a silly question but i couldn't find the answer searching around.
Is there any sort of barometric correction for MAP or AFM/MAP hybrid calibrations?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

Re: Barometric correction
By nature a speed density system automatically compensates for barometric pressure.

Re: Barometric correction
Sorry but i can't agree 100% with that. AFM based systems can compensate altitude but MAP based fuelling systems needs correction because of the back pressure influence on volumetric efficiency.Hondata wrote:By nature a speed density system automatically compensates for barometric pressure.
I've worked with other systems that uses 4D fuel tables or other baro correction method.
So. Flashpro ready Honda ECUs have baro sensor or uses WOT (100% TPS) MAP reading to figure out barometric pressure?
I don't want to arge with you just trying to figure out how to solve some fuelling issues i've found with big altitud changes.
Thanks in advance.
