Problem with S300 DATA Corruption/ Constant RED LIGHT

Hi, im having the same problem that a few people have had with the S300. The S300 has been working fine for a few months now, until one day last week, it started playing up. Constant red light on S300 board, and constant engine light on with no ECLs. When I plug my laptop into it and erase the ECU, the S300 light turns back to green and I can upload a map and start the car with no problems. As soon as I turn the car off then on, same thing happens. Constant Engine light and S300 red light. I've tried downloading the ECU Map when this happens and it looks all Corrupted. Even the on board data-log mem fills up with corrupted data even though the on-board data-logging is switched to off. I've tried removing J1 and the S300 chip from my ECU and it runs good with no engine light. I guess that eliminates the ECU being faulty. It looks like that the S300 has just stooped saving data/ or is corrupting the uploaded maps when ignition is switched off. Plz can you help in fixing this issue?
