Nitrous output wont trigger

hi,

i went testing the nitrous but it wont trigger the relay for the solenoid, then the motor gets crazy rich because its adding the fuel, so i know the other settings i have in the parameters are good.

i have it set to always armed and triggered via E21.

i rechecked my circuit and its good, once i remove the wire from E21 and ground it the N2O solenoid engages, the wire pin I'm using is one I took from my extra engine harness so I know it's a perfect fit.

for my display i have both the N2O arm and triggered indicators and once the parameters are met the both will be in red (arm is always in red)

It states at the end of the 'Nitrous' section: "The nitrous feature will not work on the PRA, PRC or PRD ECU's."

And you have a PRA, so....

Oh damn it!!! I have read the nitrous section within the Kmanager and have never seen this.

I assume the PRA don't have the internal circuits to trigger an output but all the pins are their.

This is now very upsetting because it allows the fuel to be dump but no output trigger.

So I have been thinking now, my best bet is getting a PRB ECU. installing the stock wideband and doing the pin swap.

What are the down falls or what functions I wont have using a PRB ECU?

I will have ALL the current functions of my PRA plus the other functions including the nitrous functions?

not be a pain in the 'butt' but i was looking at the nitrous output triggers and both B6 and E18 are standard outputs for my a/c and fan which the ecu triggers normally.

just to confirm, my PRA cant use these either?
it was said the ecu does not have the internal circuitry but in my mind if its normally controlling these outputs it means it the kpro board which cant?

just trying to get a better understanding before changing to a PRB ecu.

I have a nitrous set up and find it far easier to use a progressive external controller such as Wizards of Nos. I use the kpro to adjust the fuel and timing and the progressive to control everything else. Depends how much nitrous you want to use...but I'm getting MEGA results doing it this way!
