e85 turbo and detination opinions of timing map please

setup is a b16 turbo on e85.
id1000 injecters
turbonetics turbo
boost by gear
iridium 7 plugs
tuned at churches a few weeks ago 440hp at 18psi

i cannot hear the detination but when i look at my plugs ther is very small specks and more noticible is pitting of the piston.

cant quit figure out what is causing it

and yes i have been trying to get ahold of the person that tunned it to ask what they may think is the source. how ever he is out till later this week.

afr under load is steady at 11.5

wanted a seconed opinion of the timing map if anyone with experiance can look

e85 is the secondary maps..

i am not very experienced, but i have approximately the same setup, and at 14psi i am at 18.5 ignition.
I have no detonation and i run 98octane gasoline.
So with e85, in theory you could add some ignition.

your only11.0 ignition with e85 make me a little confused.

Let's check opinion from more experienced people in this forum.

the ign tables do look more pump octane then e85 best thing is try to get a hold of tuner and have them double check their wrk

if your too retarded with timing it will run hot.
It should be about 27-30* at the boost transition at 8500rpm

I always have been told to not use iridium plugs with boost. And yes ignition table should be higher.

it looks like he set up secondary tables. these are enabled when you push the ac switch. You timing looks good. about 17 degrees in column 14 and 32 degrees in column 10.

Did he tell you to push ac switch at any point?
