boost control with nitrous/aux1

Post by 9queSt »

Dual stage turbo xs boost controller.

As of now I have a switch to ground the controller. When the controller is grounded it switches to high boost.

I want to enable high boost with nitrous/aux1 parameters.
What output should I use under nitrous control to enable the high boost?

Will I fry the ecu if I use the outputs a15, a20, a17 etc to ground the boost controller witch is fed with 12v on the other side?

You would have to use one of the outputs that is a ground.

All the outputs you have mentioned are ground triggered.

All the outputs you have mention are powered and not ground triggered and you may damage the ECU if you wire it incorrectly.
If I ground the controller, and send 12v to it with A15, A17, A20 to switch it, will that be a problem?

are a12 a16 a10 12v or ground?

thanks

I do not know the details of this boost control solenoid. Anything the ECU powers should go through a relay and be fused.

In the hondata s300 programmable ecu guide, windows, parameters window, nitrous parameters

scroll to the bottom. the diagram shows ecu outputs a15, a20 grounding the relay.

After checking with other resources all the options for output look like grounding triggers.

This contradicts your statement though.

I just want to be sure when I wire it.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question originally.

The outputs above are ground triggers and will ground as long as the other side is connected to a power source.

Thanks. I can see how it can easily be misunderstood. Thanks for verifying.
