Post by aceman187443 »

When hooking up a manual switch for datalogging, does the switch get connected to ground or 12 volts??????

IT all depends on what input you use. Some inputs are grounded and some are powered.

I was going to use the D6 VTP (vtec pressure) pin on the ecu for the datalogging switch (since im non-vtec engine). Is that a ground or +12 volt i should send to D6?

I know its been 2years since I first posted this but I've never been able to trigger the data logging feature of my s300. I have a toggle switch connected to negative ground, then going to the correct pin on the ecu. Should I maybe have a momentary switch instead of a toggle?

Post your calibration as well as a diagram of how you have the switch wired.
